How We Make The World Better…

We Resolve Conflicts.

We aim not only to resolve conflicts, but to build societies, institutions, policies, and relationships that are better able to sustain peace and justice. We also train people to do so.

We Enhance Humanitarian Services.

We do this through humanitarian and socio-economic development and aid as well as nurturing an orderly and civilised society in the most urgent moments of disasters.

We Mobilize Volunteers for Development and Peace.

World Institute for Peace promotes volunteerism to support peace and development worldwide. We believe volunteerism can transform the pace and nature of development, and benefits both society and the individual volunteer.

We Promote Human Rights.

Through various immediate and long-term actions, we contribute to the protection and promotion of human rights so as to empower the population to assert and claim their human rights. To achieve this, we also work closely with state and other national institutions to implement their human rights obligations and uphold the rule of law.

We Prevent Violence Against Children.

We understand that violence against children is inevitable. So we’ve put various strategies in place in preventing and responding to violence against children.

We Develop Vocational Education.

As a means of creating jobs, and lowering the percentage of unemployment in the society, we’ve helped thousands of youth become financially independent by training and engaging them in various entrepreneur skills.
